Avdel India’s support to Indian Aerospace and Aviation sector in the year 2017.

January 01, 2018

Progress is unpredictable, whether global or closer to home it follows an uneven path.  But there’s an exhilarating feel to our work at Avdel India today.

In 2017, we saw it take on new dimensions – the year started with Avdel India’s participation in the “Aero India-2017”. Besides 65 ministerial and other high-level delegates from several countries that attended the event, the exhibition at the show saw participation from 549 companies, out of which 270 were Indian and 279 foreign. Avdel India was glad to take part in the 11th edition of the Aero India, which was one of the largest Military and Civil Aero shows of Asia.

Avdel India was a preferred supplier to some of the reputed customers in the Indian Aerospace industry like HAL, VSSC and Defence Research and Development Organisation. We were able to provide structural hardware for Aircrafts, Helicopters, Launch Vehicles & Satellites, Missiles and other Airborne missions.

We had the pleasure to provide excellent support to the Indian Aircraft Manufacturer- Thrust Aviation. Avdel India is proud to come alongside such companies that are passionate about building indigenously designed aircrafts in India.

We were able to offer comprehensive, personalized flight planning and quality trip support services because of our decades of experience, global relationships and meticulous trip co-ordination to various private jet owners in India.

Another feather in the hat would be the projects we handled for Business Aircraft Acquisition and Sales . We have been able to  match our customers with the aircraft that best suits their needs and budget using the industry’s best resources and technology.

In 2011 the Indian Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) industry was estimated to be worth USD 800 millions. With our dedicated technical team and seasoned sales staff we were also able to cater to significant MRO needs in 2017. We assisted major MROs like Air Works, Indamer Aviation, GMR and Jet Airways in their tooling and hardware requirements. By 2020 the MRO industry is expected to grow to over USD 1.5 billion; Avdel India has quite an opportunity in this sector.

It’s incredibly heartening to see Avdel’s contribution to the aviation industry in India, our growth in clientele, measurable improvement in performance and positive response we have received from our customers in the past year.

As for the future, our resolution remains the same –focus on serving the Indian Aviation sector in a larger way than we currently do, by providing new products and quality services with a high degree of commercial support throughout the country. Our commitment continues to be towards integrity, quality and social responsibility extending to our diverse and worldwide supply base.

Wishing you a joyful start to the year 2018.
